Since 1999 the RWCT program was accepted and used as a tool for educational advancement and rebuilding for the country of Kosovo. Before 1999 the education system in Kosovo from primary school to university consisted of teachers talking and students listening. There was never any interaction between the teacher and student. The RWCT program has played a key role in that development since 1999. RWCT has trained over 6,000 teachers (a third of teachers in Kosovo). These trainings have been well recieved by education officials, administrators and teachers. Walking into a classroom in Kosovo it is immeditately evident, which teachers have been trained by RWCT. Their enthusiasm for teaching is electric and that easily translates into the liveliness and willingness of students to learn.
